What is a fungicide?

A fungicide is a chemical applied as a spray or a powder to control and prevent fungous diseases such as mildew and botrytis. Many good fungicides are available, but none will control every disease. Always apply the product according to the manufacturer’s directions, and be sure to cover the underside as well as the top of the leaves.
