What can be done for houseplants attacked by root-knot nematodes?

Unfortunately, nothing can be done to save these plants. To avoid contamination of your other plants, it’s best to destroy the infested plant. Throw out the soil in an area where you are not gardening. Scald the containers with hot water before using them again.
