How is a terrarium managed?

Water terrariums sparingly and only when the soil begins to dry out. (As long as moisture condenses on the inside of the glass, no water is required.) Ventilate the container by removing the glass for a little while or just sliding it off a crack if the inside looks steamy. Keep in good light but not in sunlight, which might scorch foliage and cause excessive fogging of the glass. Attractive terrariums can also be grown under fluorescent light.
